No Fireworks in Lake California!

Tehama County Sheriff personnel will be patrolling Lake California this weekend. Fireworks are illegal in our community (including sparklers and the safe and san type) any violators will be turned into the office.

Per Rule - RR-06-09 FIREWORKS states that “No fireworks shall be discharged within the properties of Lake California, with the exception of the commercial July 4 holiday celebration display over Lake California Lake. Violators shall be subject to a mandatory fine starting at $250.00.”

With very dry wildfire fuel conditions that exist it is also extremely irresponsible and dangerous for the entire community.
